About the Role

As a Software Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for making sure that the developed subsystem integrates properly with the rest of the software. You will be monitoring builds, releases, KPI’s and overall integration activities.

In your work, you will be involved in multiple projects with diversified technologies and operating systems. In addition, within some projects, as a Software Integration Engineer you will be highly exposed to the automotive cybersecurity world.

What You Will Do

  • Pro-actively interact with multiple tier 1 hardware suppliers to coordinate hardware releases
  • Define and document system level issues between components of the subsystem
  • Interact with suppliers to resolve system issues
  • Review test logs to determine where subsystem issues reside
  • Debug and resolve system issues within scope during Software Integration
  • Understand and able to work on KPIs (memory usage, CPU load etc) issues
  • Work on system related issues (system startup, system shutdown, HW to SW flow etc.)

What You Need

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in software integration execution
  • B.Sc in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or in related topics
  • Must have design and release experience
  • Experience with common serial data test equipment (CAT, SCAT, NeoVI, SDATT, DiComPhySys, DPS Tool, etc.)
  • Experience with automotive electrical systems and functional sub-systems

What is Nice to Have

  • Experienced in all aspects of Design and Development of Automotive Electronic Controllers (ECUs), their application and integration in Vehicle Design
  • Experienced with Software and Calibrations work and Vehicle Serial Data Communication using LAN, LIN, and MOST networks.
  • Experience with common electrical test equipment (meter, scopes, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable of MOST, LAN, and LIN
  • Automotive quality standards (CMMi, ASPICE)
  • Cybersecurity quality standards extension of ASPICE
  • Experience with Firmware and Low level SW (involving ECU communication with other HW modules)
  • Scripting experience is an advantage
  • Knowledge on QNX or Linux OS
